A Taste of Norfolk; Hands On Cookery Class
Under Norfolk’s big skies, the irresistible combination of surf and turf combines to produce one of Britain’s most vibrant larders. We will be showcasing the best the county has to offer, from artisan cheese to fruit and vegetables, locally-caught seafood to meat reared by the butchers we’ve used for decades.
We'll be making a celeriac, Binham Blue and ale soup, double baked cheese soufflés using smoked Norfolk Dapple, Norfolk Rarebit, Norfolk Crunch bread, Cromer crab cakes, a beef carbonade with Woodfordes Wherry and a Bramley apple spice cake. A veritable feast from our county. And as you cook we will be refreshed with wine from Waveney Valley (and perhaps some local beer!).
Cookery class followed by afternoon tea
