Two days spent with the professionals, whisking, stirring, piping and baking, with the odd glass or wine or two to lubricate the wheels. A fantastic course, where you’ll gain skill that will last you a lifetime and a surefire guarantee to impress your friends and family.
We will make everything from Mark Mitsons' legendary scones, both fruit and cheese, ( he makes some 100,000 a year!), sweet pastry for a classic Bakewell tart and enjoy a soufflé and macaron masterclass. You'll learn how master the art of choux pastry with designer eclairs, tempering chocolate and filling with flavoured crème patisserie, make a savarin dough for rhum babas and make a stunning lemon drizzle cake, using Marks recipes garnered from his years as head chef of Claridge's pastry kitchen.
We'll give you all the recipes, tips and techniques to transform your home baking and you'll go home with boxes and boxes of treats guaranteed to impress.
Includes lunch on Day 1 and afternoon tea on Day 2.
