This course should help freshers get to grips with the basics before they fly the nest! Students will learn about the versatility of eggs (boiled, poached, fried, scrambled and omelettes), how a pack of mince can make a whole range of delicious dishes such as chilli con carne, bolognese sauce, cottage pie and meatballs, the particulars of potatoes, a basic sponge cake recipe and how a roast chicken can be stretched for days!
