How scary dare you make your cake? Let your imagination run wild with this spookily themed, frightfully fun, class run by Alex Wilson, our assistant pastry chef here at The Assembly House, with a focus on the sugar crafting skills needed to cover and decorate your own Halloween themed cake – scarily fun!
Alex Wilson: the sorcerers apprentice Alex Wilson has been assistant pastry chef to the scone master Mark Mitson for two years. The genius has certainly rubbed off! With training at the Hotel School Norwich and a position at the Two Magpies Bakery at Southwold prior to his move to The Assembly House, Alex is a star rising like a souffle. His favourite dessert is a towering croquembouche, perhaps they will be on the curriculum shortly! Alex will be teaching a range of classes in the Richard Hughes Cookery School. Watch out for his forthcoming after school baking club!
